His professional career began in PULEVA, combining his job there with work as a freelance “C” instructor for various companies and public institutions, as well as teaching ‘Mathematical Logic’, ‘Computing’ and other subjects to University students.
He decided to move to Madrid, taking a job at Unión Eléctrica Fenosa, where his knowledge of subjects such as Artificial Intelligence and LISP soon lead him to manage expert systems developed to make automatic Treasury decisions. Thanks to his position, he gained further experience outside Spain, as he travelled to the USA to collaborate with University Carnegie Mellon in the adaptation of such systems for the American market.
After several years in management and reports, and given his strong technical profile, he decided he wanted a change and ventured into web development with Ruby (distant descendant of LISP), Rails as an innovative framework for web applications, Scrum (as an agile methodology that really works: tell Roger Pressman, please) and other components of this eco-system.
