What are these promotions all about?

Obama has launched a challenge to the world: “YES, WE CAN”.

Our promotion consists on responding to this challenge, contributing the ideas we would like to be implement by the President of the United States or those ideas we believe are a good solution to some of the problems he has promised to solve.

The gifts for the most voted ideas will be $ 4,000 US; we commit to communicate them to the White House.

YOU CAN participate too in this promotion; your mind has a lot to say. You only have to think in a creative way, compete and gain votes for your ideas. And you will do it with the help of your mind. The chance of winning is a good idea, isn´t it?

What is the “Surprise!” promotion all about?

There is more!, To keep things interesting, ideas4all will give away 3 surprise gifts every week. Why? You will find out, if you are one of the winners!. Here’s a hint: any activity that you do in ideas4all, related or not to the Obama challenge, might be the reason why. The specific actions that will get a present each week are ideas4all surprise.

What ideas may participate in the Obama challenge?

In order to participate with your idea, you have to post it from the button “Do you have an idea for Obama?”  You will find the button within the box in the section “Challenge of the Month” or here, in the header. All ideas entered between February, 10th and March, 31st  participate.

Winning ideas will be:

-     The 2 most voted ideas, with the largest number of positive votes, expressed in any format: text, video or picture
-     The 2 ideas with the largest number of positive votes, expressed in video format
-     The 2 ideas with the largest number of positive votes, expressed in an illustration


All of the participating ideas have to be valid ideas, according to the rules of our community. They have to answer the proposed challenge “To help Obama with ideas”. Only original ideas may participate; this means, no copies or translations or re-edited or built-on-ideas are admitted; neither are admitted descriptions of already existing products or services, or mere thoughts without an innovative proposal… Ideas with a valid report abuse according to the rules of the community will be discarded. In order to participate, the profile of the user that introduces an idea must contain an avatar or picture. Also to post a valid idea, it must have at least one tag.

An idea expressed in a video may be as simple or elaborated as you want: from a person presenting his idea to the camera, to what you believe is best to explain your idea. Please remember that if you participate with a video or illustrations, these must be yours; they may not include elements that are not your intellectual property, like for instance images or music by other authors. In the section “legal rules” you may find additional information on this.

You have 50 days to participate, and six chances to win. The more ideas your post, the higher is your probability to win. And let your friends know also! For sure, they will thank you for the chance to participate and opt to these fantastic gifts.

Registration is the first step for winning. The first thing to do is becoming a member of the community. Enter and know ideas4all from within. Discover the ideas of thousands of people all over the world. From now on, you are a just a step away from winning.

Who may participate in the “Surprise” gift promotion?

All of the registered ideas4all users, that have performed one of the awarded activities of each week.

The more you participate in ideas4all, the more you have a chance to win one of the surprise gifts. You have 25 days to participate and 12 opportunities to win!

Gifts

You have got three weekly opportunities to win a surprise gift, and six opportunities to win thousands of $. From April, 15th onwards, we will award the six gifts to the 6 most voted ideas facing the challenge during the promotion. The more activity you have, the more opportunities to win:

2 first gifts of $ 1,000 US the two ideas with the largest number of positive votes
2 gifts of $ 500 US to the two ideas expressed on video with the largest number of positive votes
2 gifts of $ 500 US to the two ideas expressed with illustrations with the largest number of positive votes
